The Dorn method is a form of holistic manual alternative therapy used to correct misalignments of the spine and other joints.

During the session, the practitioner palpates the patient's spine.

If "unbalanced" areas are detected, possible underlying misalignments are palpated with light pressure using the thumb or hand against the spinous processes, while the patient performs guided movements such as swinging the leg or arms to distract the inertia of the muscles.
